IlluminOss Medical Inc. Names Mr. Dennis P. Colleran Vice President, Research and Development

Middletown, RI – October 15, 2007 -- IlluminOss Medical Inc., an early stage medical device company dedicated to the development of minimally invasive orthopedic systems, today announced that Mr. Dennis A. Colleran has joined IlluminOss Medical as its Vice President, Research and Development.

Mr. Colleran brings over 20 years of leadership experience in research, engineering and medical devices primarily focused in the development of implantable orthopedic, arthroscopic and spinal systems. Prior to joining IlluminOss Medical, Mr. Colleran was Vice President Research and Development at Innovative Spinal Technologies where he led the Research & Development group in the strategic development of new product lines. Previously Mr. Colleran held key roles of increasing levels of responsibility at Smith + Nephew Inc. and Johnson and Johnson Professional in the areas of research, systems development and strategic product development and planning.
